Note: The Human Services Program requires a criminal background check with the approved vendor, Kentucky Adult Caregiver Misconduct Registry check, proof of vaccinations/titers (Hep B, Tdap, MMR, and Varicella). Additionally, annual tuberculosis screening, and proof of vaccination for Covid-19 and Seasonal Flu may be required for clinical placement. More information will be discussed with the Program Coordinator at the required time for completion.

- HMS Technical Electives: Please speak with a Human Services Program Advisor about ALL options.
- Students must obtain a grade of C or greater in all core classes (HMS 101, HMS 102, HMS 103, HMS 104, HMS 220, and HMS 251), and two technical elective courses that have been selected to complete the core requirements. Transfer institutions may require a grade of C or greater in coursework including general education coursework.
- At least 25 percent of the approved curriculum for any certificate, diploma or degree must be completed at the student’s home college.
