Financial Aid

Gateway has been monitoring the Coronavirus with great concern, and our top priority is the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff. Following the state’s lead, Gateway is minimizing large public gatherings to assist in our efforts to limit any potential exposure to illness.

Out of caution for the health and safety of attendees, Gateway has made the decision to cancel Financial Aid Workshops throughout March, 2020. At this time, we are planning to resume face-to-face interaction on Monday, April 6. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will make a determination about the rest of the semester by April 2.

The FAFSA will ask you to provide federal school codes for all schools you want your FAFSA information sent to. Gateway's Federal School Code is: 013753.

Looking for ways to pay for school? We’ll be with you through the financial aid process, every step of the way. Our staff can show you financial aid options, including scholarships and grants, which you don’t have to repay, work study options and low-interest loans.

Need Financial Aid Help?

Need help with your FAFSA, completing your Entrance Counseling, Master Promissory Note (MPN), accessing the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) to keep track of your student loans, Verification?  We have staff set up in a computer lab four days a week to assist you with the various websites. 

  • We will be at the Boone Campus in the CAM Building, Room B05, at 10 - 10:30 a.m. on Monday to assist you.  Be sure to check in at the Information Commons desk.*

*Make sure you arrive before the workshop ends to ensure assistance.

Process for TURNING IN Financial Aid Documentation

FAFSAs selected for verification will receive an email with documents attached.   Items to complete will be found in Self-service, Tasks tile, To Do items.  Worksheets and other documentation are to be completed and returned to Gateway CTC Financial Aid, Edgewood Campus.
