University of Cincinnati

Gateway and the University of Cincinnati have an articulation agreement in place that is meant to support students wishing to transfer from Gateway to UC and continue their education for a bachelor’s degree.

As part of this agreement, UC will guarantee admission to all Gateway graduates who complete an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, or Associate in Applied Science degree and have a cumulative 2.0 GPA. For students who complete an AA or AS degree, they will be guaranteed junior status and will have met all lower division general education requirements at UC. UC will work with those students who complete an AAS degree to maximize the application of their transfer credit, including general education courses.

Additionally, if students transfer to UC before completing a degree at Gateway, they will be able to work with Gateway to transfer their UC classes back to fulfill requirements for completion of an associate’s degree through the reverse transfer process.

For more information on the transfer process to UC, check out the Transfer and Transition Advising Center at UC.
