Free Access to eTextbooks
For the remainder of the Spring 2020 term, students at Barnes & Noble College campuses that have closed due to COVID-19 will have free access to eTextbooks for through a partnership with VitalSource.

The TLC is your one-stop shop to find information and assistance for all the systems and solutions you use every day. From Blackboard eLearning tips and training, to Student Self Service best practices, to help with Microsoft Office 365 tools.

Get Help
As a KCTCS Student, you get a full featured version of Microsoft Office to use for free as long as you are a student. You can download and install this on your computer to use to help complete assignments.
Infobase Academic Virtual Classroom
As we move into this new form of remote teaching due to the closure of many schools and libraries because of the COVID-19 virus, Infobase would like to help in the scramble to find online learning materials by offering a free trial access to our Academic Virtual Classroom through 4/30/20. Below are the links and username and password for online access for any faculty, staff or student from anywhere. Feel free to use these resources as needed in any distance learning courses.

Vital Source
VitalSource, our partner for digital content delivery, along with more than 100 publishers announced a program today to provide free access to more than 55,000 titles used in higher education for displaced students and faculty. Access will remain in place through 5/25/20.
A college email address is all that is needed to gain access and students can download up to 7 titles at no cost. Students simply log into the VitalSource Bookshelf app using their school email address and can then find and view course materials from participating publishers via VitalSource’s Explore capabilities within Bookshelf.
