Financial Responsibility - Student Agreement Guide (SAG)

As a student pursuing a credential at Gateway, you’ll need to complete the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement on your Student Self-Service Home Page. Completing the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement before meeting with your advisor will ensure you have access to register for classes and will speed up the process during your meeting.

It is easy to do. Follow these directions:

  1. Set up your user account and password.
  2. Log in to MyPath using your user account and password.
  3. Access your Student Self-Service Home Page.
  4. Choose "Tasks" on your Student Self-Service Home Page.
    • If you notice a related "hold" or "task" on your account, this will be resolved once you complete the Financial Agreement, allowing you to register for classes.
  5. On your To Do List, you should see the Task called "Financial Agreement". Click on this task.
  6. Once you have read Step 1 of 3, click "To Agreement" and then "Next" in the upper right corner.
  7. Once you have read Step 2 of 3, click "Accept" and then "Next" in the upper right corner. If you wish to print Step 2, you can click "Printable Page" below after clicking "Accept".
  8. On Step 3 of 3, you must click "Finish" in the upper right corner to complete the task.
  9. Once you have finished all steps of the Financial Agreement, you can navigate to the Student Self-Service Home Page, click on "Tasks", and then "Completed Agreements" on the left side of the page. Under "Completed Agreements", you should see the Financial Agreement listed.
  10. You can click on "Financial Agreement" on the Completed Agreements page and then click "Print" in the upper right corner to print the completed agreement.
