Gateway awards degrees, diplomas and certificates each semester. Applications are required for each degree and diploma you are earning. Individual applications are required for each degree you are earning. Certificates are awarded at the end of each semester and do not require an application. Please meet with your academic advisor before you complete the application to confirm you are eligible to graduate.
Your earned certificate, diploma or degree is very valuable when seeking employment and building your resume. It demonstrates a skill set and a personal achievement you can be proud of.
Certificates and diplomas can be awarded while you continue with degree progress.
Before completing your application, please make sure you are using a laptop or desktop computer only. The application can only be completed on a computer, as mobile devices can cause errors in submission.
Deadlines to Apply for your Credential:
- Fall: November 1
- Spring: April 1
- Summer: July 1

In order to have a credential reprinted, please complete contact us at GW-StudentRecords@kctcs.edu or by phone (859) 442-1129. Your credential request will be part of the credential order for that semester and may take 10-12 weeks after the end of the semester for your credential(s) to be sent to you. Unless otherwise specified, your credential reprints will be mailed to the address we have for you in PeopleSoft.
