Quality Enhancement Plan
Employment is important, and to excel in the workforce, both technical skills and employability skills are essential. Through our Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), Gateway has partnered with Kentucky’s Council for Postsecondary Education (CPE) to enhance our students’ employability skills. The four programs in the table below will make an intentional and focused effort to embed skills in the classroom and in work-based learning experiences.
Additionally, Gateway’s Student Events is developing a series of events directly tied to CPE’s employability skills, including writing professional emails, networking events, resume workshops, headshot sessions, and more! If you’d like to propose an event idea, attend a session, or contribute in any way, please contact Ashley.Rouse@kctcs.edu.
