College Level Exam Program (CLEP)
What is the CLEP?
The CLEP is a national program of credit-by-examination sponsored by the College Entrance Board. These examinations may be taken at our Testing Center.
You may earn a maximum of 45 college credits through general or subject exams. We are a recognized CLEP testing center, so CLEP testing is also available for students from other colleges and universities. Scores may be sent to other institutions for applicable college credit.
To register for CLEP Testing go to collegeboard.org and create an account.
Once you receive your admission ticket then schedule to take the test.
All testing takes place at Gateway's Boone Campus.
If you have questions call (859) 442-1159. There are official College Board CLEP study guides and practice tests available at the Boone and Urban Metro Campuses. On your scheduled testing date, please bring your non-expired ID and your College Board admissions ticket. There are CLEP Study Guides available at each campus library.
