Why should students take advantage of tutoring services?

Students who take advantage of tutoring services tend to perform better in class, earn higher grades, and are more likely to complete and graduate from their program successfully and on time!

We are here to meet all needs of our students!

Some sessions are available in person on a campus; however, all listed open sessions will also meet virtually. Please visit virtually by clicking on the tutors’ name to meet them. No download needed - just be sure to use Google Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox as your browser (No Internet Explorer).

Gateway offers FREE tutoring for all students! Let us help you be successful in your classes. We have a staff of tutors here, peers (students who have completed the course), and professionals (those in the field already) who are excited to help you! We tutor on all three campuses five days a week. You can check out our schedule on the website and learn how to make an appointment with the tutor of your choice. We can meet you on campus or virtually through Blackboard Collaborate. You can schedule an appointment or pop in during open hours. Please find us on the Tutoring Webpage or raise your hand in Starfish requesting tutoring services, and a tutor will be in touch. We look forward to working with you!
