Tutoring Services at Gateway
Gateway offers free tutoring services to all current students. Tutoring is available in many subjects and is offered in-person and virtually.
How to Access Tutoring
Tutoring is available by individual appointment, group sessions, and walk-in sessions. Tutoring is available on campus and virtually.
Scheduling Appointments: Students can schedule appointments online through Starfish or by emailing the tutor. To book an appointment through Starfish, select the tutor and their available office hours, then provide details such as your student ID number and the goal for the session. Online Tutoring
Brainfuse is an online tutoring service through Blackboard. Students can meet with live tutors or schedule sessions for various subjects.
- Go to your Blackboard course.
- Click on the Student Support and Resources folder.
- Click Online Tutoring.
- Search for the subject you need assistance with.
- Meet with a live tutor or schedule a time.

Tutoring is offered in many subjects including Math, English, Anatomy & Physiology, Computer & Technology, Humanities, Massage Therapy, Nursing Aid, Psychology, Sociology, Women Studies, Statistics, and more.
