
Gateway to host diversity, equity and inclusion speaker Odell Bizzell

In celebration of Black History Month, Gateway Community & Technical College will host diversity, equity, and inclusion speaker Odell Bizzell, on Friday, February 12, at 12 p.m.
Bizzell will lead attendees in a live discussion about using leadership, equity, and inclusion to tell the story about the work they are doing in the community to eliminate barriers to education, eliminate poverty, and ensure community services are diverse, inclusive, and equitable for all.
Bizzell is a nationally known blogger, speaker, author, and entrepreneur. While in high school Bizzell started a small candy retail distribution center that earned him over $75,000 while earning an academic scholarship to college.
As a successful keynote speaker Bizzell has been featured in the USA Today, Yahoo Finance, CNBC.com, and over 200 media outlets. Bizzell has partnered with over 200 colleges, youth organizations, and the military to reach tens of thousands of students.
His engaging and interactive presentations help students learn about the intersection of leadership and diversity and how to become more effective leaders in a diverse world.
