Kentucky Nurse Aide Testing

KNAT Testing is available if you have completed approved Nurse Aide Training in Kentucky. The cost for the written portion of the test is $40; the cost for the performance (skills) portion of the test is $75; and the cost for both portions is $115. Testing is done at the Edgewood Campus. Testers must bring a valid, government-issued photo ID with a signature, as well as a non-laminated Social Security card; testers must also wear scrubs. A completed and signed roster must be sent at least one week prior to test date. Contact your training facility and have them submit a roster to Shelby Ellis. She can be reached at 859-442-4144.

Register and pay for the KNAT here. There is no onsite test registration. Note to Beckfield College Nursing students: Before registering for the Kentucky Nurse Aide Test you must verify your training with KNAT Coordinator, Reva Stroud. To do so, please submit official transcripts in an sealed/unopened envelope for review. They may be dropped off at the Edgewood Campus at 790 Thomas More Pkwy Edgewood, KY 41017 Attn: Reva Stroud.
