Important Information:
KCTCS has an important message regarding the KY.GOV online payment processing system used when scheduling a Nurse Aide State Exam online. There will no longer be a delay in payment processing of 5 days prior to the scheduled exam date.
Please contact us at nurseaidetesting@kctcs.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
KNAT Testing is available if you have completed approved Nurse Aide Training in Kentucky within one year. The cost for the written portion of the test is $40; the cost for the performance (skills) portion of the test is $75; and the cost for both portions is $115. Testing is done at the Edgewood Campus, Nursing and Allied Helath Science Center, Room 216. Testers must bring a valid, government-issued photo ID with a signature, as well as a non-laminated Social Security card; testers must also wear scrubs. Your training facility must register your test through KCTCS online. Information for KCTCS online testing registration may be found here.
Gateway students retaking the KNAT within one year of the class end date may reach out to Gateway's KNAT Coordinator, to register. E-mail: gw-healthprofessions@kctcs.edu
