
Join Gateway president, Dr. Hughes for the third annual Suits that Rock performance
at the Carnegie Center for Performing Arts in Covington on July 31 and August 7. This
years event, SuitsAid, will be a commemoration of the first Live Aid and Farm Aid
concerts in 1985. Some of the artists that will be reprised by the suits include Billy
Idol, Beatles, David Bowie, John Mellencamp, Rick Springfield, Dire Straights, Queen,
Tom Petty, Willie Nelson, Eric Clapton, U2, Foreigner, INXS, Patti LaBelle, Sade,
Huey Lewis, Elton John, Madonna, Tina Turner and more. Suits are made up of some 40
executive types from the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati region who either
currently play in a variety of bands or played in rock bands in the past. Our own
Gateway President Ed Hughes is a member of the Suits as a trumpet and flugelhorn player.
