
New Gateway Building Location in Covington
Gateway Community & Technical College will be holding classes for the Instructional Design and Learning Technology Program and the Visual Communication Program in a new location in Covington starting Jan. 15, 2013. The Odd Fellows Hall, at 6 East 5th St., Suite 400, in the heart of downtown Covington, Ky., is the temporary home of Gateway's Instructional Design and Learning Technology and Visual Communication Technology programs. Located near the intersection of 5th and Madison Avenue, the Odd Fellows Hall houses instructional and administrative space for Distance Learning, Instructional Design and Learning Technologies, Visual Communication, and Innovative Pathways in Technology and eLearning Careers (IPTEC) faculty and staff.The space is also intended for open-use by students and employees during open hours 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. , Monday- Friday. There is a variety of seating and small-group area options for utilizing the space.
Parking is available in the Midtown City Garage located at 5th and Scott Boulevard. Students, faculty and staff park free with validated tickets. A parking validation machine is available inside the Gateway Urban Center at 525 Scott Boulevard near the UCs main office.
