KCTCS President Michael McCall Visits Gateway April 15
Dr. Michael McCall, president of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, will visit Gateway Community & Technical College between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, April 15, as part of a statewide Listening Tour. The tour relates to the KCTCS Transformation Initiative designed to make the system and member colleges the premier community and technical college system in the nation. He will be accompanied by KCTCS Vice President Tim Burcham.
The purpose of the tour is to continue to engage faculty, staff and students in small
groups in conversations about Transformation and what it means to be premier. Being
premier is a major part of the vision for both KCTCS and Gateway. While some of the
sessions will be for small, invitation-only participants, it is very likely that you
may meet Dr. McCall in the hallways. In addition, students and employees are invited
to an open forum at the Covington Campus Cafeteria between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Monday.
Gateway President and CEO Ed Hughes will lead the tour. If you see the group on your
campus, be sure to say hello and help the college give our KCTCS leaders a warm Gateway
welcome!
