Gateway Receives CASE Award for Improved Fundraising
Gateway Community & Technical College has received the 2014 Educational Fundraising
Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. The award is given
to superior fundraising programs at educational institutions across the country.
Gateway was selected for an Overall Improvement Award based on an analysis of three
years of fundraising data the college supplied to
Council for Aid to Educations annual Voluntary Support of Education Survey (VSE).
Its gratifying to be recognized by ones peers, said Laura Kroeger, vice president
of resource development and external affairs and executive director of the Gateway
Foundation. Our fundraising program has grown commensurate with the college and the
Foundation, creating a broader base of private support through personal contact and
friend-raisers that inform the community of the colleges mission.
