Gateway Plans Spooky Trunk or Treat Zombie Fest

Gateway Community & Technical College is planning a spooktacular Trunk or Treat event for students and the community Oct. 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Edgewood Campus, 790 Thomas More Parkway.

Students and the community are invited to gather in the parking lot of the Student Services Center to enjoy the outdoor Zombie Fest. There will be a makeup workshop, children's costume contest, best-decorated car contest, a fashion show and zombie walk. In addition to sweet treats for children, a brain-eating contest is on the agenda. Gateway's Massage Therapy program will provide free monster mashsages (chair massages) to participants.

The public is welcome to attend. The entry fee is a donation of art or school supplies, such as crayons, pencils or paper, which will be donated to Gateway's Business in Education Success team partner, Covington's Sixth District Elementary School.
