Gateway Official Participating in National College Completion Webinar
Dr. Patricia Goodman, vice president of knowledge management and strategic initiatives at Gateway Community & Technical College, is one of three expert panelists leading a national webinar on college completion today at 4 p.m.
The college completion agenda involves a nationwide initiative supported by a broad array of higher education organizations, including the American Association of Community Colleges and the College Board. The initiative is designed to improve college completion rates to enable the United States to once again become the world leader in educational attainment, the primary driver of economic development and security.
The free webinar, The Completion Agenda: Implementation in the Real World, will discuss the completion agenda, its importance and priorities, as well as the issues community colleges face in achieving the goals.
Dr. Goodman joins Dr. Terry OBanion, president emeritus of the League for Innovation in the Community College and senior advisor for higher education programs at Walden University, and Dr. John Cech, deputy commissioner for Two-Year and Community College Education for the Montana University System, in the discussion.
