Gateway Nurses Achieve 98 Percent NCLEX Pass Rate
Gateway Community & Technical College today announced that its nursing students achieved
a 98 percent pass rate on the first attempt on the 2012 registered nurse licensure
(NCLEX) exam administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
The pass rate recently was released by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Their success
reflects the hard work put forth by our students and the quality of instruction provided
by Gateway's dedicated nursing faculty, said Teresa Mauk, Gateway nursing division
chair.
Gateway's nursing admissions cycle is scheduled for Fall 2013 for a class that will
begin the nursing program in January 2014. Students interested in being admitted this
fall can visit the Gateway website, http://gateway.kctcs.edu/Academics/Programs_of_Study/Nursing.aspx, for details.
