Gateway is Upgrading Student Email

In order to better serve you, Gateway is changing email services to Microsoft 365 for Education. On July 23, 2012, Gateway student mailboxes will be moved to 365. You may experience some email issues as Gateway makes the changes. After the upgrade, your email will hold up to 1 GB of storage. Before your storage space reaches its limit, you will receive a warning that the mailbox is almost full at 900 MB. You will be prohibited from sending messages when 950 MB is reached. At 1 GB, you will be prohibited from sending and receiving email.

Starting on July 24, you may access your email account by clicking on the Email link at the top of the college website and choosing Student Email on the following page or visit https://outlook.com/kctcs.edu. If your phone has been set to sync with the previous KCTCS email system prior to the upgrade, you will now need to set up your mobile device to work with 365. Your password must be changed via KCTCS User Account Center. You will need to know your student id number to use the User Account Center. Attempting to change your password through your mailbox will fail. For more information, visit http://www.kctcs.edu/email/FAQs.
