Gateway Grads Eligible for Leadership Degree Program Offered by Mount St. Joseph University
Gateway Community & Technical College graduates with an associate in arts or associate
in science degree are eligible to participate in a new bachelors degree program offered
by Mount Saint Joseph University.
The bachelor of science in organizational leadership (BSOL) program will begin with
the January 2015 semester. Classes will be offered in a cohort format at the ARFF
Training Center at the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Airport on Tuesdays from
5 to 8 p.m. beginning Jan. 13.
The cohort provides a face-to-face learning experience, an accelerated pace (seven
weeks per course), and is limited to 25 students, said Cynthia E. Lamb, assistant
professor and director of the Mounts Off Campus Educational Initiatives for the School
of Business. The location at the airport training center is very convenient for Kentucky
students.
Lamb said that people interested in the BSOL program can apply online at www.msj.edu/apply.
Use the promo code CVG15 and the $25 application fee will be waived. Remaining steps
for Gateway graduates include submitting official Gateway transcripts and scheduling
a meeting with an advisor from the Mount. Special tuition rates are available.
The Mount is also introducing master of science degree in organizational leadership
for persons who already have a bachelors degree.
An information session will be conducted today from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Gateway's
Boone Campus in the Classroom and Training Building, 500 Technology Way, Florence.
Another session is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Nursing and Allied
