Gateway Assessment Center Receives Gold Standard Award From Castle Worldwide
The Assessment Center at Gateway Community & Technical College has received a Gold Standard Award from CASTLE Worldwide, Inc., for outstanding performance in internet-based testing. CASTLE is a provider of high-quality testing services for corporations, government agencies, educational institutions and trade and professional associations.
The Assessment Center has worked with Castle since 2007 to provide such high-stakes
exams as the American Council on Fitness certification for trainers and instructors,
athletic trainer certification from the Board of Athletic Certification, the certified
rehabilitation registered nurse exam, the certified radiology administrator test for
American Radiology Administrators, and the national interpreter certification exam
for the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf as well as many other tests, said Assessment
Center Director Cindy Sproehnle. We are honored to be recognized by the CASTLE organization.
The Assessment Center offers high-stakes exams from CASTLE and other testing firms
as part of the job-related services Gateway offers to employers, individuals and the
general public.
These professional examinations enable test-takers to qualify for initial employment,
better jobs or graduate education, Sproehnle added.
The Assessment Center administers approximately 10,000 tests a year to about 5,000
clients. Its services include career counseling and assessment, as well as professional
state, national, and international certification and licensure testing.
The Assessment Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and offers
