Gateway Allied Health Info Sessions

Gateway, Kentucky Career Center and the Brighton Center are partnering to bring you information sessions on a variety of programs that are available as part of the Health Profession Opportunity Grant.

The Health Profession Opportunity Grant (HPOG) offers financial assistance as well as student support for low income and TANF recipients to help you successfully complete a credential that will help you find a job in a growing healthcare occupation where median wages can range from $23,000 to nearly $30,000 a year.

The information sessions will cover Nurse Aide and Human Services during the months of June and July. Along with these information sessions there will be CPR Training on June 11, June 18, July 7 and July 8.This training requires you to RSVP with Brandon Releford and you may contact Brandon by email or call (859) 442-1115.

The info sessions will help potential students learn about what HPOG offers financially, the different career pathways, wage expectations and a step-by-step guide of the admissions process.

All sessions are FREE and will be hosted at the Kentucky Career Center | Innovation Center located at 1324 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY 41011.
