The team tournament highlight was Katie Curry and Katie Daniels’ win of state champions in Duo Interpretation, ahead of three teams from Western Kentucky University and two from the University of Kentucky.

Overall, the team finished in second place in both NPDA Debate and second place  in Individual Events in the Community College Division.

“This event was a great cap to our season,” said Gateway director of forensics and associate professor, Randy DeBerry.
