Boone County students earn high school diploma and associate degree at same time

katie justiceThis year’s candidates for graduation at Gateway Community & Technical College included nine high school students from Boone County who earned their associate degree while completing high school.

Those students are Savannah Cole, Conner High School; Spencer Grome, Cooper High School; Kathryn Justice, Cooper High School; Caitlin Morris, Boone County High School; Courtney Payne, Conner High School; Shelby Reinert, Cooper High School; Bettie Tippett, Boone County High School; Anissa Wagenlander, Cooper High School; and Regan Warford, Conner High School.spencer grome

Gateway offers the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school through early college opportunities. Learn more about Gateway's dual credit program here.

This year, these students celebrated graduation from high school and Gateway together.
