2023 Arts and Humanities Month

Published on Sep 20, 2023

Gateway Community and Technical College joins thousands of arts organizations and communities across the nation to celebrate National Arts and Humanities in October.

As part of the celebration, Gateway Community and Technical College students, employees, and community stakeholders are invited to create a film or video (1-7 minutes in length) that best communicates the theme: Designing our Destiny - The Importance of the Arts and Humanities to our Local Community. “The Arts and Humanities are cause for celebration as we continue to explore and discover who we are as a community and as individuals,” said Gateway’s Arts and Humanities Month Chair Dr. Paul Frazier.

Entries may express this theme in any genre or shooting style, but the entry must be submitted here on the official entry form. Entrants must post their work to YouTube, and make the video setting public. The deadline for videos is October 27, 2023.  Videos must remain public until November 17, 2023.
