Twelve Colleges to Participate in Gateway Transfer Fair
A dozen regional colleges and universities will participate in Gateway Community & Technical Colleges second annual Transfer Fair Wednesday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the college's Edgewood Campus, 790 Thomas More Parkway.
The fair, sponsored by the Kentucky Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers, offers Gateway students first-hand information about how to transfer to four-year institutions to pursue a baccalaureate degree. Representatives from these institutions will share:
- How academic credits transfer from a KCTCS college to a four-year institution;
- How and where to apply for financial aid;
- The majors offered at four-year Kentucky institutions and elsewhere; and
- What campus life is like at the four-year institutions.
As a regionally accredited comprehensive community and technical college, Gateway
offers students high quality education at an affordable cost and provides students
with the flexibility of transferring to pursue a higher degree or going directly into
the job market.
Colleges participating in Wednesday's event include a variety four-year public and
private, large and small colleges that attract students from this region.
