Top Gateway Performers Recognized at Statewide Conference

Two students and three Gateway Community and Technical College employees were recognized for outstanding performance at the Kentucky Community and Technical College Systems recent annual New Horizons conference.

Jacquline Kesterson-Klein of Florence and Daniela Miron of Covington were honored as Gateways members of the KCTCS All-Academic Team. Kesterson-Klein graduated May 15 with high distinction and an associate in applied science degree in education. Miron graduated with distinction and earned an associate in arts degree. Both plan to transfer to pursue bachelors degrees.

Employees chosen by their peers for statewide recognition include Nancy Ritzenthaler of Fort Mitchell, assistant professor of nursing; Phyllis Yeager of Southgate, human resources director; and Connie Wiedeman of Erlanger, human resources assistant.

We congratulate these students and employees on achieving a level of excellence unsurpassed this year by their fellow students or colleagues, said Dr. Ed Hughes, Gateway president and CEO.

All five honorees were recognized at the New Horizons conference held this year in May in Owensboro.
