Register Now to Attend Gateway This Summer or Next Fall

Gateway Community & Technical College is accepting students for summer sessions that begin May 17, as well as fall terms beginning Aug. 16.

The college has five summer sessions ranging from four to 10 weeks long. In addition to four- and 10-week sessions beginning May 17, the college offers another four-week session starting June 15. Separate six- and eight-week sessions begin June 1.

Registration for fall terms is also under way. Five- , eight- and 15-week sessions begin Aug. 16; a 12-week session begins Sept. 8, and a 10-week session begins Sept. 22. The college has scheduled three additional sessions that begin later in the fall. Complete schedule information is online at under Academics.

Prospective students and parents are invited to an information session about admissions, scheduling, financial aid and academic programs. Sessions are scheduled April 9 and 23 and May 7 and 21 at 10 a.m. in Room E101 at the Student Services Center at the colleges Edgewood Campus, 790 Thomas More Parkway. A financial aid lab will follow at 11 a.m. in Room E209 at the center. Persons interested in learning how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid for summer and/or fall terms should bring copies of their 2008 (if applying for the summer term) and 2009 (for the fall term) tax returns to the financial aid workshop.

To enroll, prospective students must complete an application, submit entrance test scores or a previous college transcript, and schedule an appointment with the Academic Advising Center, which advises all new students to ease the transition into college.
