
Military Times Lists Gateway Among Top Ten Best for Vets Colleges
Gateway Community & Technical College is among the top 10 career and technical colleges
in the nation named Best for Vets by Military Times. The ranking focuses on benefits
coverage, support services and an in-depth analysis of a colleges efforts to provide
veterans with an environment for success.
This is the second consecutive year that Gateway has been listed as a Best for Vets
college and is the only Kentucky community college to make the list.
The ranking recognizes the support we give veterans and their families through Gateway
VETS, which stands for Veterans Employment and Training Services, said Gateway President/CEO
Ed Hughes. Gateway VETS is designed to help ease the transition from military service
to college and community. We offer job placement services and career counseling as
well as the educational credentials that are the pathway to a good job.
