Gateway to NKU Transition Center Schedules Information Session May 10
The Gateway to NKU Transition Center will conduct a free, public information session Thursday, May 10, at 6 p.m. in Room E101 at the Student Services Center at Gateway Community & Technical Colleges Edgewood Campus.
The Gateway to NKU Transition Center is a joint venture between Gateway and Northern Kentucky University. The center is designed to assure students are college ready by taking a minimum of 12 credit hours on NKUs campus but at Gateway's lower, affordable tuition rate. The curriculum includes six hours of college readiness courses. After students have completed at least 12 hours with a grade of C or better, they can transfer smoothly to NKU.
Enrolling at the center enables students to become familiar with NKUs campus and have access to such services as the Albright Health Center, the Steely Library, NKU Tutoring Services, the Student Union and much more. At the same time, they can enjoy the small learning environment that is the hallmark of Gateway and benefit from academic and personal support services.
