Want to make a difference in our community? You can! Poverty and hunger is not
just a problem in third world countries, it is also an issue right here in Northern
Kentucky and Cincinnati. With winter coming and the holidays just around the corner,
Gateway to Justice is working to help relieve that poverty and hunger, and brighten
the season a bit for those less fortunate than ourselves. But they need your help.
Gateway to Justice is holding a can drive to collect non-perishable foods that will
be distributed to shelters and relief organizations: Northern Kentucky Cold Shelter,
Action Ministries Inc., Be Concerned., and St. Vincent DePaul. Donations of non-perishable
foods can be made anytime between now and November 9 at the Covington Campus. (There
is a marked white donation bin located in the second office to the left in Room A-116).
We welcome any and all cash donations as well, which will be donated to the same shelters
listed above. If you would prefer to make a cash donation please contact Gateway to
Justice Student Representative, Dale Kidwell at firstname.lastname@example.org
, or Chris Booth at CBOOTH0011@kctcs.edu
