Gateway Offers Prep Class For GRE Revised General Test

Gateway Community and Technical College will offer a course in September to help people interested in graduate school prepare to take the GRE Revised General Test.

The course, offered on Sept. 10 and 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will cover test-taking strategies and problem types. Participants must be prepared to study on their own outside of class. The manager of Gateways Assessment Center, which is authorized to administer the test, will provide information about what to expect on test day.

The course costs $200. The course requires use of a scientific calculator and the Official Guide to the GRE Revised General Test. The guide is available at www.ets.org/gre or www.amazon.com.
