With tuition of $135 per credit hour, Gateway is the affordable pathway to a high paying career or completing the first two years of a four-year degree, Washington added. Our credits transfer, enabling students to save 50 percent of the cost of a four-year degree at any public university in Kentucky. Plus, we offer free parking and free bus transportation to all of our campuses via a partnership with the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK). Those benefits further reduce a students college expenses.
Gateway offers a wide variety of majors that prepare students for high-wage, high-demand jobs in currently hiring industries, such as manufacturing, information technology, business and emerging new fields in health care. Financial aid is available, and Gateway provides help with the application process. Classes are offered at Gateway campuses in Covington, Edgewood and Florence.
In addition, a federal Health Professions Opportunity Grant offers tuition assistance and other benefits to low-income individuals interested in pursuing certain allied health careers. But you don't have to be a Kentucky resident to attend, and most tri-state residents can attend for our low in-state tuition.
