Gateway makes enrolling for fall easy
Published on Jul 16, 2020
The fall semester is just around the corner, which means it’s time to enroll in college. Whether you are a returning student, first-time student, or an adult looking for a new career, Gateway Community & Technical College offers classes to meet your needs.
To make getting started easy, Gateway is hosting Pathway to Enrollment, the week of July 20. Our teams will be available by appointment to make enrolling as easy as possible. The Pathway to Enrollment event at Gateway runs Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., online and in-person at Gateway’s Edgewood Campus located at 790 Thomas More Parkway by appointment.
All who attend online, or in-person are eligible to win laptops and gift cards.
The well-being of our students, staff and faculty is important to Gateway. Signage is posted throughout all campuses to remind visitors of CDC guidelines. Masks or other face coverings and social distancing are required. To learn more about the precautions Gateway is taking to keep their community healthy, go to gateway.kctcs.edu/healthy-at-gateway.
Attending Gateway is one way to stay healthy at home while taking college classes. Fall term classes will be offered in a variety of formats. Gateway will continue to offer fully online classes, face-to-face classes, and some options that are a mixture of both. With the rise in COVID 19 cases across the country, Gateway has made the decision to transition most lecture type classes that were originally scheduled for face-to-face to an interactive live streamed environment.
Gateway’s interactive live stream courses, also known as remote synchronous courses, offer the same familiar benefits of an in-person class. These courses provide real time interaction with professors and classmates but with the advantage of being able to participate from anywhere with reliable internet access.
