How to Apply

 

We are excited you’re interested in continuing your education! Your first step to becoming a student is to apply for admission. Before you begin the online application, make sure you have everything you need to tell us about yourself:

  • Your Social Security number
  • An email address we can use to contact you.
  • Name and address of the high school you attended
  • Name and address of any colleges you attended

Got everything you need? Great!

You're ready to start your application.

Admission Process

Once you've completed the application, you'll want to do the following things:

1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):

2. Submit required test scores to the Admission Office located at the Edgewood Campus:

  • ACT, SAT, KYOTE, or TABE A
  • Gateway offers placement tests if you do not have ACT, SAT, KYOTE, or TABE A scores
  • Schedule a test by calling (859) 442-4115
  • Students with transferable credits may be exempt based upon transcript evaluation

3. Submit official high school transcripts OR GED test scores to the Admission Office located at the Edgewood Campus.

4. Submit official college transcripts to the Registrar’s Office located at the Edgewood Campus.

Make sure to have all this done seven (7) calendar days before the start of the academic session.
