Gateway Community and Technical College and the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) have again partnered to provide a shuttle bus between Gateway’s Two Rivers Building in Covington and the Boone Campus in Florence for Gateway’s fall semester. The shuttle service is in addition to regular TANK routes. You don’t have to fill out any paperwork to participate. If you are enrolled or work at Gateway, all you need is a valid Gateway photo ID. IDs are free to employees and enrolled students at campus libraries.
Beginning Aug. 18, TANK buses will provide round-trips four times a day, plus a one-way trip from the Two Rivers Building to Boone in the morning and a final pickup at the Boone Campus at 10 p.m. Regular TANK routes serve the Edgewood Campus. Most classes at the Amsterdam Road campus will move to the Urban Metro Campus this fall.
The Gateway Shuttle is open to the general public as well. Fare (without a Gateway ID card) is $1.50.
