If you love cars and enjoy solving problems, a career as an auto mechanic may be for you. Today’s automotive technicians work on integrated electronic systems and complex computers that regulate modern vehicles. The Automotive Technology program enables you to troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, service and repair automobiles. Gateway Community and Technical College participates in the Toyota Technical Education Network (T-TEN) established by the automaker to attract, develop and retain more highly skilled technicians.
