Gateway Announces Student Choice Award Winners

Nancy Ritzenthaler, an assistant professor in the Nursing Department; Monica Yihad, a part-time employee; and Caitlin Shanor, a campus assistant, have been chosen the recipients of the annual Student Choice Awards at Gateway Community and Technical College. The awards were announced Wednesday and the college’s commencement exercises.

Anna Christina Geise Earns President’s Award

In January 2011, Anna Christina Geise was laid off and unsure where to turn after 30 years in the workforce. A little more than two years later, she walked away with top honors from Gateway Community and Technical College.

Gateway Urban Center Kicks Off Healthy Happy Hour Series

Gateway Community and Technical College has begun a new Healthy Happy Hour Series of fun, informative family activities at its Urban Center in downtown Covington at 525 Scott Boulevard. The activities are free of charge and open to the public.
